My hero. I will always look up to him for band wisdom. He makes me want to be proud of my band and my music, not be modest, and play it like you mean it. It sucks being in a band you really believe in, a band that you know is better than most— even ones you’ve been in before— but nobody else— even in the band— believes it. But Murphy makes me believe; he knows that situation better than anyone and I’ll keep writing songs and performing because of him.
